ABOUT QINGMING FESTIVAL

Qingming Festival, also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day, is one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals. It falls on April 4th or 5th each year and serves as a time for:

· Honoring ancestors: Families visit gravesites to clean tombs, offer flowers, and pay respects to departed loved ones.

· Spring outings: People enjoy the arrival of spring with outdoor activities, kite flying, and nature walks.

· Traditional customs: Eating qingtuan (green rice balls), burning incense, and planting willow branches.

This festival reflects the Chinese culture of filial piety and remembrance, blending solemn traditions with the joy of spring renewal.
