The complete Calzoni range of radial piston motors, parking brakes and hydraulic systems is now available nationwide with local stock, application engineering and factory-backed support

HEFEI, Anhui, China, 5 November 2026 — Anhui Naboer Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. has been appointed Authorized Distributor of Calzoni Hydraulics for the territory of China, covering the complete Calzoni product line. The appointment was confirmed by Calzoni Hydraulics Italy S.r.l. under Certificate of Authorization No. 0001, effective from 13 October 2026 to 12 October 2027.

For Chinese machine builders, plant operators and maintenance companies, the appointment creates a direct route to a radial piston motor technology that has been present on Chinese equipment for decades — now with stock on the shelf, application engineering in the same time zone, and one point of contact for both the drive and the brake.

What the authorization covers

The appointment covers every product family Calzoni manufactures, not a selection of catalogue items.

· MR series — fixed displacement radial piston motors, 36 displacements from 60 to 9,000 cm³/rev, torque up to 35,000 N·m, ten frame sizes, flange or shrink-disk mounting.

· MRD series — dual displacement motors, 16 displacements from 300 to 8,200 cm³/rev, up to 32,000 N·m, eight frame sizes.

· MRV series — fully variable displacement, 13 displacements from 450 to 8,200 cm³/rev, up to 32,000 N·m; displacement can be changed while the motor is running under full load.

· MRT series, custom hydraulic systems, and the complete parking brake range.

All series share Calzoni’s Fluid Column Technology: there are no connecting rods, and the piston is not pushed sideways, so torque is transmitted through a column of oil rather than through a mechanical linkage. The practical consequences are smooth running at very low speed, high volumetric efficiency, reduced wear, and a motor that can also be operated as a pump in either direction of rotation.

Configuration is open on every frame: flanges and shaft types, shrink disks, integral parking brakes, manifold blocks for cross relief, anti-cavitation and flushing, gearboxes, speed sensors, seal options and connection flanges. An ATEX version is available for potentially explosive atmospheres, and the motors are approved by ABS for use on ABS-classed vessels. Manufacturing is covered by an ISO 9001:2015 quality system.

Brakes offered as a product line, not an accessory

Calzoni parking brakes are spring-applied and hydraulically released, with a wet multi-disc design that holds the load whenever system pressure falls below the release pressure. They can be integrated into a Calzoni motor or mounted independently between a high-speed motor — hydraulic or electric — and a gearbox, with an inductive sensor available to confirm the locked position.

This is why the brake range is being presented separately. Ports, mines, steel plants and shipyards moving toward electric drives are changing the drive train, but not the requirement to hold a load safely. Machines that no longer use a hydraulic motor still need a parking brake, and the same brake that suits a hydraulic drive suits an electric one.

Where the drives are used

Calzoni motors are specified in mobile machines, mining equipment, marine winches, steel plant equipment, offshore jacking systems, power plants, and coal handling plant such as stackers, reclaimers, ship loaders and unloaders. Each of these duties loads the motor differently, which is why there is no single recommended model: displacement, displacement control, mounting, brake and valve configuration all follow the duty cycle. Naboer’s engineers start from torque, speed, pressure and mounting constraints, and work back to a configuration with Calzoni’s application team.

Availability, delivery and support in China

Naboer holds stock of fast-moving motor sizes and the most frequently requested brake specifications, so replacement and small-batch requirements can be met from inventory rather than from a production slot in Italy. Non-stock items are quoted with a confirmed lead time at the time of quotation, and every offer states the price, the delivery commitment and the spare-parts position in writing.

Support covers selection and sizing, interface drawings, commissioning assistance and after-sales repair, handled in Chinese or English.
